After graduating she started "Complete Marketing" a company which offered marketing expertise to new home builders and to home improvement companies with her publications distributed by and in the Washington Post, "Money Saving Ideas For Your Home™" & "Everything The Property Manager Should Know™"on a wide variety of real estate, home improvement, and property management topics.<br /><br />In the 80s Dawn worked as Director of Marketing/Advertising for NV Homes, a new homes builder with $3 billion in annual sales at the time. Dawn was also co-owner of The Window Place/Renewal By Andersen Windows, for over 20 years.
