Bio
Mr. Welsh is a Founder and Managing Partner of GreenBarn Investment Group and is responsible for the overall operations and management of GreenBarn, as well as overseeing the origination, structuring and asset management of GreenBarn’s investments. Prior to founding GreenBarn, Mr. Welsh was a Founder and Partner of Normandy Real Estate Partners, which he co-founded in 2002 and sold to Columbia Property Trust (NYSE: CXP) in January 2020. Under Mr. Welsh’s leadership, Normandy grew to become a leading, vertically integrated investment manager with a portfolio of over 14 million square feet and $3.5 billion of assets under management. Prior to founding Normandy, Mr. Welsh worked at Morgan Stanley as head of capital markets for the US Real Estate Investing Division.
Education
Graduate of Pennsylvania State University where he earned a master’s degree in Real Estate Finance at the New York University Schack Institute of Real Estate, where he is a past member of the Advisory Board and was an adjunct professor.
