Bio
Being born and raised in the historic city of New Bern, North Carolina has provided me with an innate appreciation for Small Town, USA. I also spent my teen years in Rowan County, where I graduated high school. Then, as a proud ECU Pirate, I received my Bachelors in Psychology and an MBA in Finance. It was there that I met my wife, Melissa. Upon graduation, we found ourselves in Jacksonville, Florida where I worked for SunTrust as a Financial Services Representative. This is where my passion for helping people reach their goals and follow their budgets commenced. It led me to teaching math at a private Christian school for four years, later promoted to Facilities Director for six years. Throughout this path, I realized I belonged back home in North Carolina. The Charlotte area is where I finally entered real estate, with a focus on property management. The desire to be close to family and friends again brought me to Lincoln County. Here is where I fell in love with the downtown, historic area of Lincolnton that so closely reminded me of my hometown of New Bern. I enjoy traveling and spending time with my family. Through nearly two decades of marriage, we were blessed with our rainbow baby, Nathan. Our lives have only brightened with his presence and we love that Lincolnton, NC is the wholesome place where we may raise him instilled with traditional values.
