California native, Dave, credits his grandfather for his early interest in real estate—and has not forgotten his motto: operate with integrity. As Associate Vice President, Investments, for CIM Group in Los Angeles, David completed over $575 million in investments in apartments, condominiums, retail, commercial offices, and hotels, a role that demanded a balance of creativity and financial acumen. Previously, Dave was a Senior Market Research Analyst with Equity Office Properties Trust, where he was responsible for analyzing potential acquisitions, dispositions and developments in major office markets throughout the country. David graduated Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa with a B.A. in Economics from Northwestern University and received his MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley. In addition to his role at Calvera, he currently serves on the boards of The Contemporary Jewish Museum, the Jewish Federation of San Francisco, and is a member of the Advisory Council at ArtPoint at the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco. He is an avid supporter of San Francisco sports teams and enjoys arts and cultural events, Top 40 music and a good party.
