David R. Rogol is the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Member or Partner of all of the entities comprising the Goodrich Companies. David started his career as a real estate attorney after graduating law school ranked first in his class. During his almost twenty years practicing law he represented owners, developers and lenders in connection with the acquisition, development and financing of all types of real estate. He also worked on structuring complex real estate joint ventures. In 1995 David joined the Goodrich Companies as Chief Executive Officer working with the then Owner Richard M. Cohen who founded Goodrich. Shortly thereafter David Rogol became the principal owner of the Goodrich Companies. When David became CEO in 1995 Goodrich was losing approximately a half million dollars per year and within less than two years turned the situation around such that the Goodrich Companies by 1997 had a net operating income in excess of two million dollars and since then the Company has continued its growth. After taking the helm of the Goodrich Companies David quickly hired virtually all new personnel who for the most part remain with Goodrich today. Accordingly, the current Goodrich team has worked together for almost fifteen years.
David works closely with Goodrich’s General Counsel, Howard Gordon, on all legal matters and works closely with the Company’s Controller, John Gruska, on all accounting, financial and related reporting matters. With respect to construction projects David works closely with Tim Gorman, Goodrich’s Construction Manager. David believes in a team approach to handling all projects and Goodrich’s day-to-day affairs and that philosophy pervades the daily workings of the Goodrich Companies. As a result all personnel work closely together to achieve the best result possible in an effective and cost efficient manner.
