David Koziak, CCIM, is Executive Managing Director in Savills Nashville office, where he specializes in tenant representation with extensive expertise in office and industrial transactions, financial analysis, contract execution and strategic planning. David works with companies of all sizes, whether they need 10,000 square feet or assistance with a portfolio of hundreds of locations across the world. His focus is on helping clients in planning, acquiring and creating office environments that enhance their operations, while providing a pleasant and productive workspace for their people. David has been responsible for negotiating leases on and marketing millions of square feet of commercial space. His clients include Fortune 500 companies such as Bridgestone, Envision Healthcare, Alcoa, Dollar General, Mephisto, Comcast, AAA Auto, and the Tennessee Valley Authority. Many of the area’s leading law firms have chosen to work with him, including Neal & Harwell, Adams & Reese, Lewis Thomason, Gullett Sanford, Gideon Cooper Essary, Cornelius & Collins, Parker Lawrence Ford & Harrison, and Corley Henard, among others. He joined Savills in 2019 after nearly 12 years as managing principal of Cresa’s Nashville office, and a decade as director of office leasing at Grubb & Ellis in Nashville. Before that, he was a vice president at First American Title in Pittsburgh, where he was responsible for new business development. David serves as the President of the Montgomery Bell Academy Father’s Club. He earned the designation of Certified Commercial Investment Member and served as Nashville chapter public relations chairman for NAIOP (National Association of Industrial and Office Professionals). He has been named a Heavy Hitter by Nashville Business Journal. At Grubb & Ellis, he consistently earned honors in the company’s national “Circle of Excellence” for top-performing transaction services professionals. David is active in several local charitable organizations and has served on the boards of the Open Arms Care Foundation, Mary Queen of Angels assisted-living community, and the Tennessee Medical Foundation Endowment Fund.
