David Gay is a Senior Construction Manager providing project management oversight within Lincoln Property Company Atlanta’s office, industrial, and retail portfolio.
David brings over 20 years of construction and project management experience to Lincoln and has served in similar capacities with private developers and third party project management firms. Over his career, David has managed new construction of over 3,000,000+ square feet of projects including office, retail, mixed-use, medical office, and religious facilities. In this capacity he works closely with financing, architects, and contractors making sure the client’s needs are met while carefully monitoring the budget, billing, and scheduling to ensure quality projects are delivered on time and within budget. David has a proven ability to navigate the broad range of skills required to execute vertical development as well as project renovations of existing facilities, designed to create long term value enhancement.
David’s project management experience has been in the making for his entire life. As the son of a contractor, David literally grew up in the construction industry. David holds degrees in architecture from Clayton State University and Southern Polytechnic State University. After 7 years working in the architecture field, David worked for several notable Atlanta based developers leading their construction management departments. In 2001, David joined CCL & Associates as a Senior Project Manager focused on commercial development for private investors and the design and construction of large scale, multi-phased religious facilities for regional and national mega churches. This combination of architecture, construction, and project management skills is a valuable asset to Lincoln and the clients for whom he serves.
