Bio
David Gast is the Founder and Managing Principal of Riverbend Investments, a boutique real estate investment and asset management firm. David oversees all the company’s operations including acquisitions, financing and management. Riverbend Investments seeks to leverage David’s 28 years of commercial real estate expertise by structuring creative transactions to generate value for its investors and partners. The company focuses on “value-add” properties where it can create value with operational efficiencies, creative marketing, adaptive reuse, and redevelopment. Riverbend Investments is currently building a portfolio of workforce housing throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.
Prior to starting Riverbend Investments, David worked in commercial brokerage closing over 800 transactions to further the interests of his clients. Most recently as an Executive Vice President with Colliers International, David led the Northern Virginia Capital Markets Team in the sale of office, flex and industrial properties. Before joining Colliers, David worked with CBRE and Cambridge Property Group, LP, where he helped institutional investors to either lease or sell their Northern Virginia assets. Throughout his brokerage career, David received numerous awards recognizing his achievements including:

Prior to his career in commercial real estate, David was licensed by the Securities and Exchange Commission and worked in the sale of institutional bonds to commercial banks.
David graduated Cum Laude from The George Washington University, with a Bachelors of Business Administration and a focus in Finance.
