Mr. Dolan joined the Commercial Brokers Team in March 2001 and brought with him years of commercial real estate experience. David has worked in the Washington area since 1977. Some of his transactions have been featured in the Washington Business Journal, The Bethesda Gazette, The Gazette Business, Washington Techway Magazine and he has also been interviewed by Forbes Magazine for his expertise in commercial real estate.

Represents commercial clients that need office, warehouse and retail facilities in the DC Metro area. Some of the clients Mr. Dolan represents include: National Childhood Cancer Foundation (NCCF), SecureInfo Corp., Lyondell Chemical Company, United Rentals of North America, Safeway Van Lines, Genecare, and GEICO Insurance.
THE CHEVY CHASE LAND COMPANY, 1984-2000
A 110- year commercial real estate developer and manager of their own portfolio of property in Maryland and Virginia.
General Management: Vice President (1997 – 2000) responsible for office building leasing, construction and management supervision. Oversight of five property managers and eleven office buildings, consisting of 1,196,000 square feet. Assistant Vice President (1991-1997). Property Manager (1984-1991).
Construction: Most recently completed the construction, organized leasing and management set up for The Francis G. Newlands Building, a 300,000 square foot Class “A” office building atop the Bethesda Metro Station. This project was the first new office building in Bethesda in over nine years.
Leasing: In-house leasing over a two-year period of 417,000 square feet.
THE HALEY MAKIELSKI CORPORATION, 1983-1984
A commercial and residential developer and management firm.
Office/Retail Property Management: Vice President responsible for office and residential property management, leasing and construction for 129,000 square feet of office/ warehouse and 216 residential apartments and townhouses.
LAND USE CONSULTANTS COMPANY, INC., 1977-1983
A commercial office and retail developer and management firm.
Vice President responsible for office and retail marketing and leasing. Using design background, drew tenant space plans, and priced required work. Applied for permits and hired contractors. During construction supervised the work and approved progress payments. At completion coordinated move in and managed property.
Classic cars, sailing, antiques and home renovation. Both David and his wife are involved with community, school and charitable organizations and volunteer their time to these causes.
