David started his career, spending 5 years with CBRE, working at a traditional brokerage. David joined Devencore and its Tenant Advisory and Consultation model in 1996 and has consistently been among the top performers in Canada. David specializes in consultation, early lease and cost restructuring, corporate relocation, forecasting analytics, space planning and move management for his clients in the Toronto Central Business District. During the COVID-19 Pandemic, David continued to consult with his long-term client, Thomson Rogers. After a thorough analysis of the early effects of the pandemic, coupled with a forecasting model, David successfully restructured Thomson Rogers’ lease with seven years remaining on the previous obligation, yielding a long-term cost mitigation business strategy while capitalizing on the opportunity created by the pandemic. David has represented Lenczner Slaught for multiple successive lease transactions. David’s advisory role has provided Lenczer with the opportunity to grow organically in their existing location by continuously negotiating the required flexibility within their contractual obligation(s). With over 30 years of experience, consulting on 1000+ transactions, David’s expertise has allowed his clients’ business plan to dictate their corporate space needs on their preferred timeline.
