David Cohen is Managing Director in Savills Detroit office, focusing on regional and national investment sales as part of the firm’s Capital Markets practice. He is responsible for advisory and transaction work across sectors – including the office’s coverage of industrial, office, multi-family and retail.
David has 16 years of experience in investment real estate and is an expert in the valuation and marketing as well as the acquisition and disposition of income-producing real estate assets across property sectors -- including multi-family, office, retail, industrial, hospitality and self-storage. He also has in-depth experience in the valuation and sales of performing and non-performing debt and debt pools on behalf of lenders. David advises lenders through the disposition and asset management of their REO and distressed real estate portfolios. In addition, he has served as master-broker for national retailers, helping to open over 100 locations across the country. In total, he has successfully completed nearly 300 transactions in almost all 50 states, totaling over $700 million in transaction value.
