David Chavez brings to SVN |QAV & Associates over thirty years of experience in commercial real estate brokerage, strategic disposition and acquisition services. He is adept at positioning under-utilized sites for higher and better uses with an emphasis in adaptive reuses, consolidations, build-to-suits, lease/purchase/sale strategies and feasibility studies.
Early in his career, David started as a commercial leasing broker and continues to provide such services. He is adeptly skilled in evaluating market conditions, valuing properties, identifying and addressing impediments, negotiating and structuring market priced purchase and lease transactions and in monitoring and resolving impediments when they arise.
Prior to joining SVN |QAV & Associates, David served as principal at his own firm, David G. Chavez & Associates and as Vice President at Transwestern. He has provided real estate consultation and brokerage services for a wide range of clients in the East Bay and Greater Bay Area, some of which include the US Veterans Administration, publicly traded corporations, private non-profit organizations, small business entities, affordable housing developers, and medical clinics.
