As a consultant, Daven has advised such clients as Tailored Brands, Ascena Retail Group, Tuesday Morning, Guitar Center, Party City, and Stage Stores. Known for her creative negotiating skills, she has restructured over 400 leases for these clients and generated over $200 million in savings. She is also experienced in the restaurant sector, with her work including lease conversions, terminations, and blend-and-extend transactions for CAVA and other national casual dining chains. Daven’s work consistently exceeds client expectations.
Daven brings 20 years of real estate expertise. Her career focus has been on mall and power-center leasing, tenant representation, lease restructuring, and financial modeling. Previously, she held leadership positions at such organizations as Glimcher Realty Trust (Washington Prime Group), Urban Retail Properties, Cypress Equities, and Queensland Investment Corporation (QIC). She also has extensive experience with institutional clients and investment funds, such as Metropolitan Life Insurance, California State Teachers Retirement Systems (CALSTERS) and the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA).
Over the course of her career, Daven has completed more than 3,000 lease transactions in 46 states, including deals in all major metro markets. Her career portfolio includes properties with total GLA in excess of 100 million square feet.
Based in Columbus, Ohio, Daven is a licensed broker, a long-time member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, and is actively involved in Women In Real Estate (WIRE).
