Bio
Dave has experience providing appraisals, consultations, reviews and litigation support. Clients include: financial institutions, private equity firms, developers, individual and corporate property owners and legal firms. Prior to joining CBRE in 2006, he was a vice president with AccuVal Associates, a global multi-disciplined valuation and advisory firm based in the US.
Dave has had assignments in more than 40 states and four Canadian provinces and is a member of the CBRE National Industrial Valuation Group. Assignments have been completed across a wide variety of property types including: industrial, office, retail, net-leased investments, multi-family residential, residential subdivisions, various types of agricultural properties, along with a wide variety of special purpose facilities such as food processing facilities, research and development laboratories, biopharmaceutical manufacturing, paper and pulp mills, mineral and chemical processing plants, steel mills and abattoirs.
Dave has completed a large number of FASB-compliant projects for financial reporting purposes and has extensive experience in the valuation of inventories of machinery and equipment for asset-based finance industries. He holds the MAI and AI-GRS designations from the Appraisal Institute, the ASA designation from the American Society of Appraisers, and the MRICS designation from the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
