Bio
Darin Spillman grew up in Los Angeles and thrives on the region’s unique mixture of beautiful weather, diverse culture, geography, entrepreneurial potential, and creative environment. As both a real estate investor and professional, Darin understands from experience the intricacies of owning, managing, buying, selling, and marketing investment properties.
Darin differentiates himself as a result of his extensive track record representing sellers of both multifamily and retail properties. Since 2002, he has focused his efforts on the disposition of middle-market transactions throughout Los Angeles County, having successfully closed more than $750 million in sales volume.
He has earned a reputation for his candid communication style and listening skills, collaboration within the brokerage community, strong work ethic, intimate knowledge of the product and his creative approach to emphasizing the unique selling points of every property he markets.
Darin’s emphasis includes apartment buildings, value-add retail and mixed-use assets, investment and SBA-driven owner-user retail opportunities, and urban in-fill land for development. In his free time, Darin enjoys reading, learning new things, the great outdoors, and most importantly, spending time with his family, friends, and various pets.
His philosophy is to represent his clients as he would represent himself or his family, and he’s happy to provide a multitude of clients’ testimonials to anyone interested in hearing or reading about their experiences firsthand.
Darin served as chair of the Planning & Land Use Committee of the Encino Neighborhood Council in L.A., 2021-2023 elected term. He has also served as a volunteer mentor and is now a program committee member for Imagine L.A., a non-profit which prevents first-time and repeat homelessness and equips families to thrive.
