Bio
Daniel Cartalucca's career trajectory in real estate differs dramatically from most of his peers’. Perhaps his passion for his own home best illustrates why he is enthusiastic about helping you be in your perfect home, too.
Following Daniel's honorable discharge from the United States Marines in 1985, He embarked upon an exciting and challenging career in telecommunications management. Concurrently, he attended college part-time, and there he met his fun and creative wife, Jill.
When they were ready to purchase our first home in 1990, to educate myself about the buying process, he took the real estate licensing class and exam. Subsequently they bought, re-zoned, and remodeled a 2-story former Schwinn bicycle shop in Des Plaines into a wonderful, Chicago-style loft. As homeowners, they were permitted to do much of their own construction, so they got a hands-on education in heating, air conditioning, plumbing and electrical systems. Over the years since, Daniel has helped dozens of friends and clients with projects and repairs in their homes. As a result, he understands construction and mechanical systems thoroughly, and am able to use his knowledge and ability to identify problem areas to your advantage during the home selling and purchase process.
Daniel prioritize caring for, living safely in, and protecting the financial investment of his home- and he understands that your home is equally important to you.
Daniel dedicates himself to helping his clients through the complicated process of buying or selling their home. He guides them at every step, from getting a Seller’s home market-ready, to studying comparable properties to set the right price, to conducting showings with qualified buyers. He helps his Buyers find the right home in the right neighborhood, at the best price. With both Sellers and Buyers, he guides his clients through the intricacies of inspection and closing, always making himself available for every phone call to provide explanations; make calls to confer with contractors, attorneys, or inspectors; or simply provide reassurances that we’re on track to close. Bottom line: He is dedicated to being a knowledgeable, reliable, and available resource for his clients.
