Background & Experience EXPERIENCE: Worked as Chief Operating Officer at a medium-sized hotel in the Chicago area. In this position, worked with all departments involved in the running of the hotel, and also developed a set of monthly financial reports to monitor profit and ROI.
Managed the commercial spaces in the building. Responsible for finding tenants, working on leases and all tenant relations. New tenants brought in during my employment include, Jamba Juice, Postnet and Seattle Sutton Healthy Eating.
Led several project teams involving possible acquisition of land for development as a hotel site.
ASSOCIATIONS:
Days Inn Illinois Regional Marketing Alliance
As Vice Chairman of the Illinois Regional Marketing Alliance I helped grow the Alliance in numbers from 12 to 20 member hotels, and coordinated marketing efforts between all participating Days Inns in Illinois.
Days Inns For Business, National Alliance
As Membership Chairman and co-founding member of the Days Inns For Business Alliance I helped grow the Alliance from the initial 5 members to 35+, developed the mission statement and helped coordinate marketing efforts between top level participating Days Inns in major markets throughout the country.
