Bio
Dan grew up immersed in the Real Estate and Construction/Homebuilding industries, as his grandfather and father involved him in the business from an early age.
After graduating from the University of Connecticut in 2007 with a Business degree, Dan moved back to Windsor Locks to begin his career, becoming the third generation at Merrigan & LeFebvre Realty. This was also the beginning of the worst and longest economic and real estate recession the country had seen in decades. Real estate agents were leaving the business at a record pace.
During these downtimes, Dan learned how important it is to be accountable and honest with his clients and that there is no substitute in this industry for hard work. His Dad brings 45+ years of experience; he has been and continues to be Dan's mentor. Dan considers himself lucky and proud to have learned the old fashioned way of how the real estate industry works. Dan combines that knowledge and experience with his own experiences into the fast-changing climate of today’s digital world.
Dan has enjoyed a successful 17 year career as a real estate veteran, holding a Real Estate Broker license, and has worked in every aspect of the real estate industry, including representing buyers, sellers, investors, and banks in residential, commercial and land transactions. Dan takes pride in bringing top professional service without a high pressure sales pitch.
Dan lives in Windsor Locks with his son Austin. Outside of the office Dan likes to play golf, travel, ski, scuba dive, be outside, and spend time with friends and family. Dan serves on the Windsor Locks Zoning Board of Appeals and represent the Town of Windsor Locks as a Board Member on the Bradley Development League.
