Dan began his career with CENTURY 21 Affiliated in 2000 after he received his real estate license while earning his Real Estate/Business Management degree from the University of Minnesota. Since then, Dan has served as Team Leader, Corporate Vice President and became President/CEO in 2015. As the President/CEO of CENTURY 21 Affiliated and part-owner of the largest CENTURY 21 company in the world, Dan oversees CENTURY 21 Affiliated Central Services which handles all operations including Human Resources, Marketing, IT, training and all accounting functions. CENTURY 21 Affiliated boasts over 120 offices and with more than 2,300 agents throughout Wisconsin, Michigan, Minnesota, Illinois, Indiana, and Florida, and grosses over more than $3.5 billion in sales and closes 20,000+ transactions annually.
In addition to his role within CENTURY 21 Affiliated, Dan has developed strong ancillary partnerships that support CENTURY 21 Affiliated through title, mortgage, home warranty, predictive analytics software, and a real estate holding company with assets across Wisconsin and Minnesota.
Dan has been involved in many aspects of real estate through the years including serving on the Rock/Green REALTOR®S Association Board of Directors, serving as the President for a term and was named REALTOR® of the Year in 2008 by the Rock/Green County REALTOR®s Association. Additionally, Dan served as Chairman of the Board for the Wisconsin REALTOR®s Association in 2014 – 2015 and was also named Wisconsin REALTOR® of the Year.
Currently, Dan is actively involved with the Wisconsin REALTOR®s Association, along with being an active member of the Wisconsin chapter of The Young President’s Organization (YPO), the PACC Real Estate Mastermind organization, and currently serves on the South Central MLS Board of Directors.
Dan is committed to paying it forward by helping people and organizations throughout Wisconsin. In 2015 he established the Affiliated Foundation, a charitable wing of CENTURY 21 Affiliated serving the communities Affiliated does business in.
Dan is continually asked to speak at various functions including the 2018 Wisconsin Real Estate & Economic Outlook Conference through the University of Wisconsin’s School of Business. He was also named a 2019 RISMedia News Maker – Futurist in Real Estate.
Dan and his wife live in Madison with their three children and is an avid golfer in his spare time.
