Background:
Dan Ferrick began his Real Estate career by providing analytical and market research for two different companies in Boulder, Colorado. He then moved to Denver and joined Colliers Bennett & Kahnweiler, Inc. in 2003 as a member of the Pipkin/LaForte team specializing in office sales and leasing. His primary focus was marketing the team's 532,000 SF of Office Lease Listings along with development of new business. Now, Dan works on many different types of projects including office, industrial/flex and retail properties. Dan brings a wealth of past service experience and extensive travel adventures to round out his unique business skills.
Experience and Education:
Dan received his Bachelor's degree in Business/Economics from UC-Santa Barbara in 1993. He has worked with clients such as Brookfield Properties (one of Colorado's largest office owners and leasing companies), Computer Associates International, Inc., Starbuck's, Fedex/Kinkos, Keller Williams Real Estate, Glacier Ice Cream, Lafarge, Cici's Pizza, Encana Oil and Gas, and Sprouts Natural Grocer. He has been involved in the marketing of buildings, researching and marketing to target market groups, and landlord representation. He is an active member of the Denver Metropolitan Commercial Association of REALTORS® (DMCAR), serves on the board for the Commercial Brokers of Boulder (CBB), and served as president of Alpha Epsilon Pi Fraternity while attending UC-Santa Barbara.
Activities and Involvements:
Dan moved to Boulder from the Big Island of Hawaii in 2001. He has traveled extensively throughout the Middle East, Asia, South Pacific, and North America. He designed and installed a computerized irrigation system on a 50-acre Kibbutz in Israel in 1992 and 1994. He has also organized several projects raising money for the visually impaired and Project Head Start. Dan has found that Boulder offers an array of outdoor activities such as biking, hiking, and snowboarding to keep him busy when he is not working.
