Bio
Experienced as an officer with the primary responsibility of managing the communications, internal control assessments, risks, and opportunities of several businesses, my duties include communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including, but not limited to, independent contractors, media, bloggers, influential members of the business community, and the general public. My career path has allowed me to serve in real estate; asset management and investing; as well as the financial services industry for more than 10 years. My real estate experience includes reviewing title commitments, sales contracts, full cycle accounting, reconciliations, budgeting, variance analysis, trust agreements, and other similar documents. I am well versed in the areas of property law, including methods of acquiring and holding real property; private and public regulation of the use of land; the practice and principles of real estate planning, development, and finance; and property tax laws. I've been licensed by the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) since 2004: Broker No. 052754. I am also recognized by TREC as a Certified Instructor. My legal experience includes overseeing and identifying the legal issues in all departments and their interrelation, including engineering, design, marketing, sales, distribution, credit, finance, human resources, production, as well as corporate governance and business policy. My entrepreneurial spirit, coupled with my emotional intelligence and situational awareness, has allowed me to emerge as a natural leader. One of my passions is helping others develop and foster positive working relationships in a way that builds trust and transparency.I hold both a Juris Doctorate and a Master of Business Administration degree. My law degree has empowered me to articulate, accurately and persuasively, the themes and issues associated with an organization.
