Bio
Cynthia Wasserberger is responsible for agency and tenant representation client services, including new business development and implementation. She specializes in the New York metropolitan area for clients in a diverse array of industries. Wasserberger was recently honored by Jones Lang LaSalle’s New York office as the Local Tenant Leasing Professional of the Year for the company’s entire New York leasing and management division. She has been actively involved in providing real estate services to several large corporate clients such as Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley, Metropolitan Transportation Authority, State Street Bank, Royce Funds, and Deutsche Bank. Wasserberger also assists key prime brokerage groups and focuses on transaction work for numerous boutique hedge funds and investment management firm. She has completed in excess of 75 transactions over the past few years including KBC Aim, Traxis Partners, Scout Capital, Trafelet, Brencourt Capital, Alpha Investment Management, Avesta Capital, The MuniCenter and Bowman Capital.
Prior to joining Jones Lang LaSalle, she served as a director with Colliers ABR Inc.
Wasserberger received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Florida and a master’s degree in real estate finance from New York University. She is an active member of The Real Estate Board of New York and New York University’s Real Estate Alumni Association. Wasserberger served as event committee co-chair for Project Sunshine’s Fifth Annual Gala, which was held in May 2008. The organization raised more than $750,000 during the event. She is also an active member and former gala fundraiser for The Doe Fund.
