My professional experience spans three distinct careers, but each is woven together with the marketing expertise. When I was a social worker I utilized the same people skills (setting out a goal & gathering others around me who can contribute to that achievement) as I have with magazine publishing/advertising and with commercial real estate. You have to sell your ideas to the homeless in the same way you sell them to consumers who read your magazine, advertisers who value your readers, and property owners who believe you are the one who can best sell their property.
