Curtis received a BS in Communications from the University of Maine. He is a graduate of the New York Real Estate Institute and a member of the Real Estate Board of New York. In addition, Curtis is a former Board Member of C&W’s Emerging Brokers Group and the Inner City Scholarship Fund. As a native of Maine, Curtis grew up working on the water and has sailed extensively around the world as both an engineer and first mate on large yachts, including most recently on his own yacht “Independence”. Prior to moving to New York City, Curtis lived and worked in Africa for two years where he started his own company which specialized in guiding safari expeditions throughout the game parks of East Africa.
