Curtis Berrien is a managing director with Newmark Knight Frank's Walnut Creek office. Prior to rejoining the company in 2009, he worked with CM Commercial Real Estate for nine years, becoming a principal in 2004.
Mr. Berrien specializes in strategic planning and real estate matters for corporations. His expertise includes implementing strategic real estate plans utilizing detailed market surveys, transaction structure analysis, financial analysis and knowledge of how to build and coordinate a relevant team of experts to assist in the process.
Mr. Berrien has completed more than 800 transactions in his career and currently represents selected entities along the I 680 corridor, where he has been successful with tenant procurement and retention. Mr. Berrien enjoys working hand-in-hand with office building owners to enhance exposure through marketing strategies, handling lease negotiations and assisting with forward planning to ensure the projects that he represents succeed.
