Curt Arthur, SIOR, serves as a managing director for SVN Commercial Advisors, LLC in Salem, Oregon. Arthur joins the firm with more than 17 years of experience and specializes in the sale and leasing of industrial and office property throughout Oregon, focusing on the Salem/Keizer market, the I-5 corridor and the Oregon coast. During his career Arthur has secured nearly 800 transactions resulting in a brokerage volume in excess of $225 million.
Prior to joining SVN, Arthur served as principal broker for Coldwell Banker Commercial Mountain West Real Estate. He was named the Realtor of the Year in 2002 and the Commercial Realtor of the Year in 2007 by the Salem Association of Realtors. Arthur’s transaction highlights include: representing the Oregon Association of Realtors in the disposition of their existing office for $1.2 million and the acquisition of their current headquarters for $4.4 million and coordinating a $9 million, 40,000 square foot build-to-suit lease for State Farm Insurance. Arthur has also completed more than 25 leases with the State of Oregon totaling more than 500,000 square feet as well as exclusively representing State Farm Insurance in a portfolio leasing assignment consisting of 24 separate locations. His past clients also include: New York Life, General Electric, Fidelity National Title, Key Bank, and Sentry Insurance Company.
As an active member of the industry and in his own community, Arthur has served on the Board of Directors for the Salem Association of Realtors and founded the Willamette Valley Commercial Realtors, serving as Chairperson in both 1999 and 2007. He is also a member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors and the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP). Arthur currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Boys & Girls Club of Salem, Marion and Polk Counties; the Regional Advisory Board of Directors for US Bank; current Salem Area Chamber of Commerace President; and is on the Northern Willamette Leadership Council for the Oregon Community Foundation.
