Mr. Werley’s background encompasses four decades of experience in multiple facets of real estate. His experience is international in scope and includes extensive involvement in real estate market supply & demand, financial analysis and development studies in conjunction with investments in all types of properties. During the course of his career in the industry, Mr. Werley has served in senior management positions with several internationally recognized companies and as a senior officer in a national real estate investment firm. While serving as Director of Real Estate Advisory Services for PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in Florida, he established a research, information and consulting services program featuring extensive published research of Florida real estate markets. Mr. Werley’s professional achievements are reflected in professional designations signifying the highest standards of experience and professionalism in the field of real estate. These include The Counselors of Real Estate (CRE) and designation as a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS). Additionally, Mr. Werley is an active member of major national and regional professional associations most notably the Urban Land Institute (ULI).
Mr. Werley is frequently quoted in local, state and national publications on the Florida real estate market and related investment, development and management topics. He has been a featured speaker at numerous real estate industry conferences and seminars and has published periodic economic and real estate market trend analyses for selected markets. He formerly served as a member of the Real Estate Advisory Board at the University of Florida and as an adjunct professor in the Real Estate Master of Science program at NOVA Southeastern University where he taught real estate market and feasibility analysis. He maintains access to essential local, regional and national real estate data resources through membership in major trade organizations including the National Association of Realtors, Florida Association of Realtors and Miami Realtors Association.
Craig directed and participated in strategic predevelopment analysis and planning of numerous successful real estate projects ranging from individual single-use developments to large-scale urban mixed-use projects and planned community developments. As Executive Vice President of a national investment/development firm, he was responsible for strategic corporate direction regarding target market identification and investment/development positioning as well as management of individual project due-diligence.
