In 2014, he was elected to the Midwest Commercial Real Estate Hall of Fame. With over 41 successful years in the commercial real estate industry, Craig brings a wealth of experience to his role at Bradford Allen.
A seasoned and highly motivated professional, Craig, when he wears his tenant rep hat, he expertly assists clients with renewals, relocations, re-negotiations, expansions, and dispositions of excess space for a variety of entrepreneurial and mid-size businesses. When wearing his Landlord Rep hat, he guides Bradford Allen's Loft Leasing Division, representing 10-15 timber and concrete loft buildings scattered throughout River North, West Loop and Fulton Market.
He is dedicated to understanding his clients’ business operations and requirements. By gathering this information, Craig is able devise creative, client-specific real estate solutions. Craig is committed to helping not-for-profit organizations, such as Life Span, Howard Brown Health Services, Thresholds, and TPAN. As not-for-profit organizations are often underrepresented, he uses his expertise in commercial real estate and his aggressive negotiation skills on their behalf.
Craig has successfully represented both tenants and landlords in various transactions. For example, he assisted Mainstreet Advisors in completing an expansion that nearly doubled their office size, while simultaneously subleasing the company’s smaller, former headquarters. Over the years, Ajinomoto Heartland and Ajinomoto Food Ingredients have also turned to Craig for numerous lease transactions in which he helped double the size of their O’Hare location as well as relocate and expand their location in Itasca, Illinois. Overall, he has closed over 2000 transactions, valued in excess of $500 million, and has represented his clients in more than 3,000,000 square feet of leasing and sales transactions.
Craig lives in Andersonville with his husband. He stays active by working out and weight training and focuses on living a healthy lifestyle. He attended the University of Illinois and is an avid fan of all Chicago sports.
