As director of property management, Connie Kamps is responsible for site management of Hunt Midwest’s real estate developments which include SubTropolis, the world’s largest underground business complex, a subterranean industrial park with six million square feet of leased space. Connie’s duties also include site management for the Foreign Trade Zone, tenant relations, lease renewals, expansions and special events direction.
Connie has spent her entire career with Hunt Midwest Enterprises, Inc. beginning in 1982 when she joined Hunt Midwest Entertainment Inc. as a marketing representative at Worlds of Fun. In 1985, Connie joined the real estate organization in sales and public relations. She was promoted to manager of real estate properties in May 1992, and in April 1998, to director of property management.
Connie is a graduate of Southwest Missouri State University, now known as Missouri State University, in Springfield with a bachelor’s degree in marketing/personnel management. She is a Certified Property Manager (CPM), past president for the local chapter of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM), a board member of Ability KC, a member of CREW KC (Kansas City Commercial Real Estate Women), a volunteer service dog puppy raiser for KSDS and a member of the board of directors of the Greater Kansas City Foreign Trade Zone. She is a past member of the Kansas City Regional Association of Realtors, the Underground Developer’s Association and past member and officer of the National Association of Corporate Real Estate Executives. Connie and her husband Paul reside in Kansas City, Missouri.
