Bio
Connally McKay, a lifelong Texan, has dedicated his entire professional journey to the realms of real estate, title management, and land development. Hailing from Victoria, TX, he graduated from Baylor in 2005. Following this, he transitioned to the Austin area where he shares life with his beloved wife, Sarah, and their two sons, Thomas and Leighton. Before establishing Sierra Commercial alongside his dad, Robert, Connally spent seven years at Asterra Properties. During this time, his focus encompassed site selection, infill redevelopment, land development, retail leasing, and sales. His clientele ranged from large national corporations to local small and medium-sized enterprises. Known for his dedicated service and unwavering ownership of his work, he has more recently taken the helm of development teams with a concentration on residential land projects. Sierra Commercial arose to address a genuine market demand for high-quality site selection, innovative and eco-conscious development, and brokerage led by individuals who champion environmental stewardship and community leadership. Connally and his team eagerly anticipate the opportunity to serve, while working to enhance the world we share. Outside of his business pursuits, Connally's rich rugby background includes three USA Men's Club Rugby National Championships (2018, 2019, 2023) with the Austin Rugby Club. Further, he held the position of Head Coach for the University of Texas Men's Rugby Club from 2018 to 2022. His coaching includes youth rugby too, drawing profound life lessons from the sport that builds relationships, helping others to grow and live their best lives.
