Colin Hewitt, a Hoosier native (that's Indiana for the rest of the world), moved to Charleston in 2004 after making the agonizing decision between Purdue University in the northern Indiana tundra and fun and sun at The College of Charleston. After an early graduation, Colin pulled a Forest Gump, bought a decrepit old shrimp boat, and made a valiant attempt at the salty sea life. Several years in commercial fishing and food and bev drove him to the conclusion that some activities make better hobbies than professions, and decided to seek land based employment. A decade later, after refining his business development and recruiting skills in tech and finance, Colin joined the DeSeta team in 2020 to drive sales and expand DeSeta's brokerage operation. When he's not working, Colin still loves playing chef for friends and family, offshore fishing, spearfishing, sailing the Bahamas, gardening and traveling. He lives in Park Circle with his partner Celia, and two dogs, yorkiepoo Marley Bob and found hound Dolly Parton.
