Bio
A graduate of Hillsboro High School, Clint Currin first developed an interest in real estate while in college. He enjoyed touring historic homes in the West Hills and participated in many studies on early 1900s urban growth within Portland and its progression to the farmland. Most fascinating to him was the role housing played in the city's evolution. Clint found time to acquire his real estate license while earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology and a Certificate in Urban Studies and Planning from Portland State University. Having been an active, full-time Realtor for over 30 years, Clint attributes his success to being a very structured individual, a characteristic not often found among real estate brokers. Real estate is unpredictable, and professionals must be prepared to pivot and maneuver through changes. To that end, Clint has found that having that underlying structure allows him to be highly productive and keep a level head even in stressful times. No small feat, he's been the #1 broker in the Hillsboro RE/MAX Equity Group office for over 10 consecutive years, finding great satisfaction in doing what's necessary to sell a property or find the perfect home for his clients. Having spent so long building a strong, trusted real estate business, Clint's now looking forward to working side-by-side with his children as they pick up the reins over the next 20 years and continue what he's created. His vast experience has given him tremendous knowledge regarding the history of properties, trusted connections with other agents in the community, and a comprehensive understanding of real estate contracts and fair negotiation tactics. He enjoys doing business with a variety of clientele. Clint is well-versed in rural properties and owns a 45-acre hazelnut orchard in Helvetia that he tends with his dad, who resides there. It gives him tremendous pleasure to be part of the Oregon agricultural community. He still indulges in his childhood passion for automobiles and loves a good road trip. Freetime is well spent with family in Sunriver where they enjoy the winter snow when it provides for skiing and snowboarding, along with the sunny summers for boating and bike riding.
