Bio
Her expertise is selling ag land with coffee shacks to acreage with large homes from Hawi to Kau. Hawaii and real estate is her passion and her life and after 40 years of living in Paradise, she is here to stay. Cindy's love of Hawaii began as a little girl after she visited family on Oahu when it became a state in 1959. On Oahu, her grandfather had swam with both Duke Kahanumoku and Johnny Wiesmiller in Waikiki while training for the olympics. Cindy was destined to move to Hawaii but only after getting her Associates degree in Interior Design from a Boston College. At age 19 Cindy moved to Maui for a few years where her 3 brothers lived, but later settled in Kona in 1978 to raise a family. She's a proud mother of 3 and a grandmother of soon to be 7 with all living here in Kona. Prior to joining MacArthur Sotheby's International Realty her real estate career began in 1990 at Century 21 where she was part owner and top producer year after year. She's achieved the highest ranks in sales being, 'Centurion', 'Double Centurion', 'Grand Centurion' and was ranked #5 nationally in 2005 out of 45,000 agents. Cindy strives for excellence to provide her clients with the quality service that everyone deserves. In 2008 she went to Trinity University in Dublin, Ireland to receive her CIPS (Certified International Property Specialist) designation which not many agents have achieved because of the time and effort it takes to get it. Because of her CIPS, Cindy is in the "Who's Who in International Real Estate". In the past Cindy has also enjoyed using her design talents to buy, fix up and resell her own real estate along with helping her clients do the same. Her daughter Jamaica has joined her team by having her mortgage broker license to qualify potential buyers. Recently, her partner, Joe Milburn also joined her team as a sales associate. Rounding out her team are Paige who provides transaction coordination support and Jaime who is her marketing and admin assistant. "Ultimately my goal is to make the buying and selling experience an exciting and happy time for my clients," says Cindy. "Their success is my success." Having the knowledge, extensive experience and local savvy, Cindy has closed hundreds of successful transactions with clients who remain her friends for life. She also enjoys traveling and meeting people from all walks of life and has visited Samoa, Fiji, Tahiti, Bali, Panama, Mexico, the Caribbean, Bermuda, New Zealand, Australia, Canada and throughout Europe. In her leisure time Cindy enjoys outrigger canoe paddling, paddle boarding, surfing, hot yoga and lifting weights.
