A strong production professional and experienced manager of complex real estate transactions and assets, Chuck Pilchard joined Avison Young in April 2010 as a Principal in the Washington, DC office. After working for Price Waterhouse, Chuck started his commercial real estate career in 1982 by joining The Oliver Carr Company, Washington’s premier development company, where he gained an in-depth knowledge of the region’s real estate development process, market dynamics and execution of commercial leasing transactions, serving as Vice President of Leasing. With over 16 years of industry experience, Chuck became Regional Leasing Director of Jones Lang LaSalle, Inc. where he was directly responsible for leasing and research professionals and co-management of leasing and property management activities in the region, all drawing on his extensive tenant and owner client relationships and historical knowledge of the metropolitan market. Chuck has over 29 years of real estate experience providing services to (i) regional, national and international owners of commercial properties, and (ii) professional, corporate and non-profit users on development, leasing, and investment sales matters and has personally executed over $2.1 billion in real estate transactions, involving in excess of 6.4 million square feet of commercial space.
