Based in Los Angeles, California, Chris Montes is a Senior Director for Walker & Dunlop’s Multifamily Finance team. In this capacity, he oversees the structuring, origination and deal management of multifamily financing. Mr. Montes has over a dozen years of experience in the commercial real estate finance industry and has an extensive understanding of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac’s lending programs. Mr. Montes focus’ on Workforce Housing, Affordable Housing and Social Impact Housing, helping to find creative solutions for investors looking to make a meaningful double bottom line impact. Mr. Montes serves as Co-Chairman of the Mortgage Bankers Association’s (MBA) Future Leaders Alumni, Vice Chairman of the board for AdelFi Credit Union and serves on the Diversity and Inclusion Board Committee for USC’s Sol Price School of Public Policy.

Mr. Montes holds a Master of Science in Management and Leadership from the Sol Price School of Public Policy at the University of Southern California (USC), as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics from the University of California, Irvine
