Chris Dufault is the Vice President of Investment and Development at R.J. Kelly Co.,?Inc. (RJK) and works directly with the Chief Investment Officer. Chris is responsible for sourcing and acquiring new investments on behalf of RJK and its investment partners, as well as and the asset management of RJK’s self-storage portfolio (Stor-U-Self). He also assists with the asset management and disposition of RJK’s existing portfolio. He brings a diverse background to the team with professional experience in multiple fields, including Big Four Accounting and commercial real estate. Since joining RJK, Chris has transacted on 7.5 million square feet totaling over $1 billion across various asset classes including industrial, flex, self-storage, office, and land.
Before joining RJK in 2015, Chris worked at DTZ (now Cushman & Wakefield) as a commercial real estate broker in the Greater Boston suburban market.? He also worked as a Valuation Associate at Deloitte in New York City and completed a contracted consulting project for Iora Health in Boston, MA.
Chris received his B.A. from the College of the Holy Cross with majors in Economics and French and completed his study abroad program at the University College Dublin School of Economics. He is a licensed real estate salesperson in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Chris is a member of REFA Emerging Leaders, NAIOP Developing Leaders (National Forum and Local Chapter), NAIOP Government Affairs, and SSA YLG (Self Storage Association Young Leaders Group).
