Christopher has worked as an Analyst, Asset Manager & Executive at Wall Street REITs, the FDIC & Fannie Mae. Christopher played a pivotal role at the FDIC leading the take down of over 150 banks & the disposition of over $2BB OREO assets. He served in the US Army's Second Infantry Division throughout the Far East & is proud to be a decorated US Army Veteran.
He is considered an expert in Multi Family, Student Housing, Senior Housing and Equity Crowdfunding. He regularly speaks and conducts workshops at industry events all across the US.
He was named one of the "who's who's in crowdfunding" for 2017 by Crowdfund Beat.
Christopher started his career in finance at a large lender where soon rose to the top of the company. Seeing the opportunity he opened First Republic Residential Investments, a Correspondent Mortgage Lender originating over $50mm in residential & Commercial mortgages annually.
When he saw the signs of the pending crisis, he closed his lender & went to work for Fannie Mae & then on to lead the FDIC Division at Prescient Investment Management.
During his tenure, Christopher and his team closed 153 Banks and managed the disposition of over 23,000 OREO assets with a combined book value of over $2 billion.
He currently manages a $400MM portfolio of Real Estate Assets comprised of Student Housing, Senior Housing and Multi Family Assets for Vie, an Opportunistic RE Private Equity Group based out of Miami. Mr Crippen has a Masters in Real Estate and Finance from Florida International University and studied at the Prestigious University of Regensburg in Germany.
He is a Licensed Real Estate Associate in the State of Florida
