Christine has been a full-time real estate broker at the Wells Group for the last 17 years and has represented a diverse range of properties including River Gate Lofts (82 residential & commercial units), The Ranch (100 homes), and many land, luxury and commercial properties. Christine enjoys connecting with and listening to her client's needs and provide a full spectrum of real estate services and knowledge of the area to guide them through each step of the buying or selling process.
Christine moved to Durango in 1984 from Albuquerque, NM to attend Fort Lewis College and began her real estate career in 1988 working for David James at The Ranch residential community in the North Animas Valley. She spent 15 years focusing on real estate development, sales, and property management, and continue to list and sell many homes in this beautiful community.
Christine is a MCNE (Master Certified Negotiation Expert) and ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative). She consistently ranks in the top tier of brokers in Southwest Colorado and have won numerous real estate and community awards. As the current President of the Durango Area Association of Realtors and current board member of Music in The Mountains, Christine enjoys contributing to her local community. Christine is honored to be awarded the 2019 Realtor of the Year.
Christine has been married for over 27 years to John Serwe, an excavation contractor, and together they have two "almost-grown" children. Their daughter Natalie is attending Colorado Mesa University, and their son Mitchell is soon to be a high school graduate.
