Bio
Christine was born in Bangor, Maine and grew up in the coastal town of Hancock. Christine is a true native with family roots deep in Hancock and MDI. After graduating from Sumner Memorial High School, Christine went on to attend Eastern Maine Community College, majoring in Computer Aided Drafting and Design. Still unsure about what she wanted to do, Christine left EMCC and joined the family carpentry business. That is where her love for houses, interior design and architecture really began to flourish. At just 18, Christine drafted floor plans for her own house, and with the help of family, built it a couple of years later. Christine spent around 10 years in the construction field - both as a builder and a plumbers assistant, expanding her knowledge of the inner and outer workings of building from start to finish.
After giving in to an undeniable urge to be her own boss, Christine changed career paths in 2014. Christine successfully owned and operated Sea Crow Company, a designer handbag company, in Hancock Maine that specialized in nautical handbags inspired by her lobsterman husbands profession. Like many small business owners, Christine wore a number of hats from designing and making to marketing products. Sea Crow Company was locally well known and wholesaled to a number of stores nationwide.
Wanting to get back to her roots and also wanting to incorporate her years as a business owner, Christine decided to obtain her real estate license in 2021. That same year Christine joined Swan Agency Real Estate and teamed up with her father, Gary Seavey and Lori Stanley. Christine works with residential, commercial and investment clients in the Downeast & Acadia region.
Christine still resides in Hancock with her husband, Donnie and two yellow labs, Otis and Bug. In her free time Christine takes on a number of projects in her own home, enjoys spending time with her dogs, road trips and paddle boarding at her mothers camp in the summer.
