Chris Skyles, a 30-year Austinite, began his real estate career after college in Houston with the Vanguard Commercial Group. It became obvious that real estate was a natural fit for Chris and began building an impressive client list. He quickly made his way back to Austin where he founded SkylesBayne, a commercial real estate firm specializing in tenant representation. Over the past 11 years, Chris has carved a deep niche within the technology and innovation sectors during his time at SkylesBayne. Chris successfully brokered over $300 Million in third party transactions while growing the company’s gross transaction volume to over $1 Billion. In early 2018, he joined forces with successful local entrepreneur, Kenny Tomlin, to launch Elevate Growth Partners. In addition to his role at Elevate, Chris is an active investor in several Austin- based technology companies; he operates his private venture fund, 3rd Eye Ventures, and is an LP investor in the most active venture funds in the Austin market.
