Chris Schneider joined NAI Norris, Beggs & Simpson in 2012 to specialize in retail leasing and sales. His strong retail background includes working with well-known local and national retail tenants on leases in shopping centers around the Portland metropolitan area and the Pacific Northwest.
Prior to joining NAI NBS, Chris was a Pacific NW Leasing Representative with Retail Opportunity Investments Corp. (ROIC), a shopping center REIT. He was responsible for leasing a portfolio of more than one million sf of grocery-anchored shopping centers in the Portland and Seattle metropolitan areas. He also spent six years as a retail broker with Barnard Commercial Real Estate, where he represented landlords and tenants in retail leases, and worked with local developers on land acquisitions and site feasibility studies.
Some of Chris’ career achievements include helping Save-A-Lot lease space for one of its first stores in the Portland metro area, and fully leasing a ground-up development in Wilsonville. He has also conducted site searches and lease negotiations for several Taco Time restaurants in the Portland metro area.
Chris is a licensed real estate broker in Oregon and Washington.
