Chris Owen serves as a Director in Cushman & Wakefield’s Diligence Advisory Group. He leads the Strategic Advisory practice within Diligence Advisory, a group with dedicated expertise to develop real estate solutions to support clients in making complex decisions at the asset, market and portfolio levels. In Strategic Advisory, Chris focuses on creating customized solutions to both private sector and government clients. His role combines due diligence, consulting, and underwriting services across multiple commercial real estate types. He directs business development opportunities and coordinates with other service lines to ensure clients have the best possible team on any assignment. As the lead in Strategic Advisory, he is responsible for the execution and preparation of final client-deliverables including economic impact studies, demand/feasibility assessments, as well as asset-level and portfolio-wide solutions around optimization and forward-looking strategy. Prior to joining Strategic Advisory and the Diligence Advisory Group in 2022, Chris was a part of Cushman & Wakefield’s Research Team for over 9 years. He was promoted in 2017 to Florida’s Research Director, where he managed all six Florida markets. His 20+ years in commercial real estate includes stints at working on both the brokerage and ownership sides of the business. His expertise has been citied in numerous news articles, and he published several white papers on real estate related issues impacting Florida’s commercial real estate markets.
