Mr. Millen began his real estate career as a residential agent specializing in primary residences and vacation condominiums at Birkshire Hathaway Homeservices Maui (formerly Prudential Maui Realtors). He later joined Prudential Iwado Realty to focus on commercial real estate full-time and became their Commercial Sales and Leasing Manager. Mr. Millen has worked at Colliers, for a decode as their Maui Senior Associate, 4 years at JLL as their VP of Brokerage, and now heads Coldwell Banker Commercial Hawaii as their Principal Broker.
Mr. Millen has now compiled nearly twenty years’ experience in the commercial real estate industry. Current projects include a 163 acre business park, resort retail listings, and multiple institutionally owned shopping centers. Introducing and implementing creative and innovative concepts such as alternative energy to owners, Mr. Millen has helped them add value by minimizing tax liabilities, improve leasability, and generated additional income to the property.
Bringing development projects such as Maui Business Park to market, brokerage listings, buyer and National and local tenant representation help ensure Mr. Millen is abreast of market happening. Chris’ shopping center experience includes Kukui Mall, Lahaina Gateway, Napili Plaza, The Fairway Shops, Lahaina Square, Lipoa Center, Wailuku Towne Center, Kamaole Beach Center, Lahaina Square, Old Lahaina Center, Honokowai Marketplace, and Maui Lani Shopping Center. Resort retail experience includes Front Street, Ritz Carlton, Hyatt Regency Maui, Westin Maui, Starwood in addition to tenant placement at Shops at Wailea and Wailea Gateway.
In his spare time, Mr. Millen is an avid archer, an accomplished outdoors-man, 7 handicap golfer, enjoys scuba diving (is a certified master scuba diving instructor), and photography.
