PRIMARY ROLE
Charlie is responsible for overseeing the execution of Formation’s logistics projects, maintaining relationships with end users and brokers, and leading new business initiatives. Charlie is focused on growing the company’s platform by pursuing strategic land positions and generating leasing opportunities.
PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY
Charlie previously served at Duke Realty, a $14 billion pure-play, logistics property REIT, as the Indiana and Ohio Region SVP. Charlie was responsible for new development, marketing, leasing and management of Duke Realty’s industrial and office portfolios in Indiana and Ohio, comprising more than 45 million square feet located in Indianapolis, Cincinnati and Columbus. He also identified acquisition and disposition opportunities, along with new land positions and prospects for build-to-suit development. Charlie began his employment with Duke Realty in 1989 as an Industrial Leasing Representative. His various roles included Director of Leasing, Assistant VP, VP for Duke Realty’s Indiana Industrial Team, and SVP of all of Duke Realty’s Indiana operations. Beginning in 2006, Charlie began overseeing Duke Realty’s portion of the Browning/Duke joint venture, encompassing 1,500 acres supporting 20 million square feet of industrial buildings. Charlie’s extensive leadership roles provided training of individuals who went on to become top-ranked Duke Realty employees. His 30-year tenure includes Duke Realty accolades such as 1995 Dealmaker of the Year, the esteemed Salesperson of the Year in 1996, Masters Club inclusion for 13 consecutive years, 2001 Deal of the Year, three-time Industrial Team of the Year in 2008, 2009
