Chad joined Stream in 2018 after practicing commercial real estate law for over 17 years, most recently with Jackson Walker. In his law practice, Chad was mainly focused on the leasing and management of office, retail and industrial projects, regularly counseling landlords and tenants in the preparation and negotiation of leases, subleases, amendments and other leasing documents. Chad was also involved in the purchase and sale of undeveloped and developed land, including improved income-producing properties (office complexes, industrial projects, and retail centers), development of both residential subdivisions and commercial projects, and the formation of business entities. Chad’s experience practicing law has given him a unique skill set that gives his clients distinct advantages as they lease real estate. Reviewing hundreds of leases and dealing with lease disputes during the term of a lease and at the time of termination and/or renewals has enabled him to spot hidden dangers involved in a lease and advise his clients accordingly at the time of negotiation before it is too late. Chad also understands the importance of getting a lease across the finish line and deciphering what is important and analyzing risk. Chad’s attention to detail allows his clients to execute leases with confidence knowing no element of their lease has been overlooked. Chad's primary responsibilities at Stream include but are not limited to: assisting with lease transactions representing both landlords and tenants, acquisition/disposition services, and expanding the office leasing platform.
