Chad DeFoor is a managing director for ARA, A Newmark Company’s Atlanta operation where he specializes in the listing and sale of Class B and C multifamily for private and regional investors. He has sold over 26,000 units, with a value more than $1.5 billion since 2011. Mr. DeFoor has over 15 years of experience in multifamily asset management, acquisitions, dispositions and brokerage with an emphasis on Class B and C workforce housing.
Mr. DeFoor is a member of the Atlanta Chapter of the Certified Commercial Investment Member Institute (CCIM) and the Georgia Chapter of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) where he has obtained both his CCIM and CPM designations. He is also a member of the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors, the National Association of Realtors and is a licensed broker in the state of Georgia.
Mr. DeFoor received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Georgia (UGA) where he double majored in both real estate and marketing. He was a member of the Track Team at UGA where he ran both the 400m dash and the 4x400m relay.
