Cathy is the Owner/Broker of Homesteaders Realty which was established in Sierra County in 1980. After spending 17 years at a career in "corporate America" in Albuquerque, Cathy and her husband decided to raise their two sons in a smaller town. They had enjoyed this area on the weekends for quite awhile and made this permanent in 1991. Cathy has been licensed as a broker associate since 1995 and enjoys listing and selling all types of real estate here in Sierra County. In fact, she loves the real estate profession so much she purchased the company in 2005. Cathy's honors include a Realtor of the Year award, two Sales Agent of the Year awards and many Appreciation Awards for community service. She serves on the Planning and Zoning Commission at Elephant Butte, Fiesta Board, Community Health Foundation Board, School Board and various committees. Cathy is involved with the state realtor association, active on the legislative committee and has held several positions on the local realtor board. Her hobbies include water and snow skiing, softball, and she's a big school sports fan.
