Casey Powell is a First Vice President with CBRE’s Detroit office. During his 30 year career in commercial real estate, Mr. Powell has specialized in agency leasing. He has been active in the Metro Detroit office market since 2004 following his relocation from Atlanta, Georgia.
During the 12 years prior to joining CBRE, Mr. Powell was Vice President of Leasing with Transwestern Commercial Services, providing landlord representation services for wide range of properties in the Metro Detroit market. A sample of his assignments include 777/789 Eisenhower Parkway (412,000 rsf) in Ann Arbor; 150 West Jefferson (493,000 RSF) in Detroit’s CBD; Crystal Glen Officentre (246,000 RSF) in Novi, Triatria (236,000 RSF) in Farmington Hills and Auburn Hills Corporate Center (120,000 RSF) in Auburn Hills. Casey’s depth of experience providing leasing services for both private equity and institutional ownership uniquely qualifies him to creatively structure transactions that align the demands of tenants with the requirements of large scale ownership.
He was actively involved with a variety of notable transactions including a 49,000 RSF lease to CW Professionals, a 65,000 RSF lease restructuring with Miller Canfield Paddock & Stone, a 90,000 RSF lease with Millenium Medical Group, a 20,000 RSF lease with Regus Officenters, 44,000 RSF leased to Dassult Systemes and an 18,000 RSF lease to Spring Arbor University.
