Mr. Ahern joined International Commercial Investments known in Florida as I.C.I. Shopping Centres, Inc, in 2019. I.C.I. for decades has been active in acquiring and developing properties in Ontario, Canada, and the state of Florida. I.C.I. is primarily focused on commercial real estate development with a focus on long term ownership. The company’s portfolio consists of approximately 40 properties with a variety of both local and national tenants and is based in Tampa, FL. I.C.I. has also invested in and grown multiple franchise concepts including Supercuts, Yogurtology, 18 Bagels and Modern Tan Spa. At present these affiliated companies have over 20 locations with nearly 200 employees.
Previously, he served as Director of National Accounts and DCIO Sales at Crossmark Global Investments, a boutique $6 Billion dollar asset manager. There he was responsible for management of the National Accounts and DCIO teams while building and enhancing Crossmark’s platform of investment solutions and relationship management, with intermediary distribution partners.
With over a decade of experience in financial services he spent much of his finance career at Carillon Tower Advisers, a subsidiary of Raymond James Financial, where he was Vice President of National Accounts at the $65 Billion dollar asset manager. Prior to that, he was a Regional Vice President responsible for retail distribution in the Southeast. He began his career with a two year rotational development program at Raymond James.
Mr. Ahern received a Bachelors of Economics from the University of South Florida and went on to earn a Masters in Business Management at the University of Alabama. He currently holds the Series 7 and Series 66 securities licenses as well as a Florida real estate license.
Mr. Ahern resides in Tampa with his wife Shay, son Liam, daughter Ireland and their chocolate lab Montana.
