Carol Christensen, CPA is a Partner of Thistle Creek Capital. Carol has worked for 30 years in the private equity and investment fund industry. Carol was a partner and the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer at Northgate Capital, a Danville, CA-based, private equity and fund of funds firm. Prior to joining Northgate Capital, Carol was the Controller and Chief Financial Officer at Horsley Bridge Partners, a San Francisco-based private equity fund of funds manager. Carol oversaw the financial and administrative controls during the firms’ growth and managed the financial accounting and reporting processes for the benefit of many large institutional investors. More recently, she has managed a family office, investing in real estate projects and private equity investments. Carol graduated with a B.S. in Accounting from Brigham Young University and earned her CPA license while at KMG Main Hurdman, predecessor to KPMG International.
